Zachwycili polską publiczność na OFF Festivalu i grali w wypchanych warszawskich klubach. Teraz Shortparis zaprezentowali nową płytę i ogłosili koncert w Proximie! Rosyjska grupa odwiedzi Polskę w maju 2021.

Muzyki Shortparis nie da się zaszufladkować. Jedno, co można o niej powiedzieć na pewno to, że jest niesłychanie świeża i innowacyjna, mimo że na pozór sklecona ze znanych komponentów. Można doszukiwać się w niej śladów postpunka, postindustrialu, elementów noisowych, czy dark wave’u okraszonych świetnym songwritingiem i niepokojącym, lecz doskonałym wokalem. Koncerty Shortparis już zostały okrzyknięte “najlepszymi w całej Rosji”, a teraz muzycy zdobywają również zasłużone uznanie za granicą.

W listopadzie Shortparis podzielili się swoją trzecią płytą studyjną, zatytułowaną “Так закалялась сталь – Tak Zakalyalas’ Stal’” (Thus the Steel Was Tempered). Zgarnęli także szereg nagród w Rosji, w tym za “Odkrycie Roku” (GQ Russia), “Zespół Roku”, “Singiel Roku” i “Klip Roku” (Jager Music Awards).

Unfortunately, despite sincere intentions, it is still impossible to organize a Shortparis club concert in Poland. Together with the team’s management, we are forced to postpone the event and thus we can officially announce that Shortparis will perform on September 13, 2022 at the Proxima club in Warsaw. All tickets purchased so far will of course remain valid on the new date.

They impressed the audience at OFF Festival and played packed shows in Warsaw clubs. Now Shortparis released a new record and announced a show in Proxima! The Russian band will visit Poland in May 2021.

Shortparis’ music cannot be easily categorised. It contains the elements of post punk, post industrial, noise and dark wave, with added brilliant songwriting and disturbing, perfect vocals. In November Shortparis put out their third LP, “Так закалялась сталь – Tak Zakalyalas’ Stal’” (Thus the Steel Was Tempered).
