Night Lovell, czyli naprawdę Shermar Paul to kanadyjski raper, który jest jednym z największych undergroundowych wykonawców sceny hip hop. Na Youtubie i Soundcloudzie wygenerował ponad 50 milionów odsłuchów, a liczba ta ciągle rośnie, podobnie jak liczba fanów, która przychodzi na jego żywiołowe i pełne energii koncerty. To wszystko udało mu się osiągnąć bez wytwórni, w pełni niezależnie, w wieku zaledwie 20 lat.
Początkowo Night Lovell nieśmiało umieszczał pojedyncze beaty na Soundclouda. Dopiero po roku zdecydował się na załadowanie tam swojej pierwszej kompozycji – Dark Light, która okazała się trampoliną do światowej kariery Shermara. Kilka miesięcy później Night Lovell wydał pierwszy mixtape zatytułowany „Concept Vague”, który był do pobrania za darmo. Na początku studiów wyszedł „Red Teenage Melody”, na którym wyraźnie słychać wpływ trapu. Shermar zagrał już także dziesiątki koncertów na całym świecie.

Night Lovell – the revelation of the Canadian rap scene is coming to Warsaw. His songs were listed dozens of milion on diverse streaming platforms and all of this has been achieved independently, without support of any major labels, being only 20.
Born May 29th 1997 in the eastern Canadian city of Ottawa, 20 year old Shermar Paul, also known as Night Lovell, resides in the western/nepean part of the city. Night Lovell is a rapper, song writer and producer. Growing up, music was always a part of Shermar’s life wether it be simply listening, or playing an electronic keyboard that he would get for Christmas in his early childhood years. Producing was the kickstart to his music career. Uploading beats to soundcloud every now and then for fun on his free time. Adding vocals to beats were always a dream of his although he never had the confidence to do so. Roughly a year went by uploading beats to soundcloud, and Lovell decided to upload his first track recorded on a beat. Dark Light. A jump start to what he has become today. Some months after this he released his debut mixtape for free on the internet; “Concept Vague”. Since then Lovell has been steady releasing a streamline of new sounds that slowly curate his sound.
Night Lovell’s sophomore release, Red Teenage Melody carried the same ominous delivery; however, “trap” influence appeared to a much greater extent throughout the release.
