Urodzony na Islandii Axel Flovent zyskał uznanie fanów i krytyków po wydanym w 2016 roku albumie Forest Fires i EP Quiet Eyes, które wyszło w 2017. Axel dorastał w rybackiej wiosce Husavik o populacji 2000 osób. To skromne pochodzenie wpłynęło na jego delikatne i jednocześnie wyraziste brzmienie, które usłyszeć będzie można na jego nowej EPce Youthful Hearts, której premiera zaplanowana jest na październik 2018.

Youthful Hears to zbiór piosenek o uczuciach związanych z pierwszymi miłostkami i poczuciem izolacji wywołanej osamotnieniem. Obecnie Axel mieszka w Brighton w Anglii, gdzie przeprowadził się po 18 miesiącach spędzonych w Holandii. Jego nowe doświadczenia, brzmienie i mentalność ukształtowały nadchodzące EP.

Icelandic born, Axel Flovent rose to acclaim in early 2016 after the release of the impressive Forest Fires EP and rose to critical acclaim following 2017’s Quiet Eyes EP. Born and raised in the fishing village of Husavik (population 2000), Axel’s humble background shaped the fragile yet powerful songwriting heard on the brand-new EP Youthful Hearts.

Set for release in October 2018, Youthful Hearts is a collection of songs about those feelings of first loves, the feelings of isolation without that love.  Now based in Brighton after 18 months in the Netherlands, Axel’s new sound and mentality is all poured out over the EP.
