Yellow Days, the moniker of British musician George van den Broek, crafts a hypnotic blend of indie soul, psychedelic pop, and his signature raspy, yearning vocals. Emerging as a teen with the “Harmless Melodies” EP and breakout album “Is Everything Okay in Your World?” (2017), he later relocated to Los Angeles, where he created the sun-soaked, funk-infused “A Day in a Yellow Beat” (2020). During the pandemic, he turned inward, releasing a self-produced trilogy of EPs “Slow Dance & Romance”, “Apple Pie”, and “Inner Peace” (2022), capturing his evolution from lo-fi soul into richer, more psychedelic territory.
